| Black Fungus Symposium | Date now fixed: Thursday, October 14, 3 pm – 6 pm, at CIIT large conference room. 30-45 min per speaker, with first speaker starting at 3:30 pm. Maggie had contacted a Duke professor who specializes in black fungus issues – tentative yes, but not final until he gets back in town 8/26. Considered to be backup first speaker. Jeff will call him in the next couple of days. Jeff tentatively volunteered to give a BRIEF intro. Jeff will contact “on the ground, running” people at NC DPH Jeff will also contact Jonathan Wiener for potential legal input. Ines will call Mary Jane Selgrade and Marsha Ward to see which if either of them is available. Considered to be primary first speaker. Ines will contact exposure/remediation specialists at EPA/OAQPS/IAQ. Ines will contact Rob Smart @ NCSU. David will contact son-in-law who is a lawyer specializing in mold litigation. Greg will contact the lawyers who had contacted him about mold issues. Greg will contact mold policy people at EPA’s Office of Children’s Health. As soon as our speakers are set, but no later than September 14, Greg will prepare a flyer for approval. |
